What is a COIN Mining Helmet?
COIN Mining Helmets introduces a new layer of gamification allowing users to find, mint, and equip Mining Helmets of different levels to enjoy enhancements to Earn More related features (Rewarded Tasks, Bonus Drops, HODL Rewards, Referral Rewards, Background Rewards, Extension Devices, and Premium Plans).
There are over 10 million Mining Helmets with 5 levels of scarcity. Each Mining Helmet gives 7 different Earn More related benefits to varying degrees once minted and equipped. Mining Helmets have Earn More Charges which require a recharge once they run out to continue getting these benefits.
Once you find a Mining Helmet, you have 10 days to mint it before it goes back into the pool of available Mining Helmets. When minting these Mining Helmets, make sure to have a valid NFT Wallet address that you own the private keys for.
The price of minting depends on the scarcity of the Mining Helmet found (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary). Each level of scarcity also comes with a higher level of Earn More related benefits.
Once minted, each Mining Helmet has an Earn more Charge (1000 for Common, 2500 for Uncommon, 5000 for Rare, 7500 for Epic, and 10,000 for Legendary). Once that charge runs out you can recharge it with an in-app purchase (which also varies based on scarcity). The Helmets use much fewer charges than the Pickaxes since their benefits are used much less. They are used once per day for each of the applicable Earn More features except Bonus Drops, which only happen once per week, and Background Rewards which can happen a variable number of times per day.
What are the benefits?

NOTE: Some Mining Helmet bonuses are given in real-time, like with the HODL Rewards, Background Rewards, Bonus Rewards, Extension Devices, and Referral Rewards bonuses, whereas others are given in an extra Geodrop at the end of the UTC day, as with the Rewarded Tasks and Premium Plans bonuses.
What are the Tiers?

- Legendary (only 144 available which provide above benefits in the 9-10% range)
Where are the Mining Helmets in the app?
You can access the helmets in the Items section of the account screen, just like the pickaxes, but when equipped they show on the Earn More screen.
Once a Mining Helmet is minted and equipped, you can see additional info about it, which is accessible from the Earn More screen.
Note: The first chart shows the Mining Helmets benefits in relation to others of the same scarcity, whereas the second chart shows the benefits in relation to all Mining Helmets (Common provides 1-3% benefits, Uncommon 3-5%, Rare 5-7%, Epic 7-9%, and Legendary 9-10%).
Can you find and mint multiple Mining Helmets? Yes, you can! And there is a good reason to. Each Mining Helmet provides different benefits so you may want to switch from one to another depending on how you are using the app. In the app you can see how your other minted Mining Helmets compare with regards to each benefit to your equipped one.

Mining Helmet Merging
You can merge Common, or Uncommon, or Rare Helmets. When you merge Commons, you will forge an Uncommon-Legendary Helmet. When you merge Uncommon, you will forge a Rare-Legendary Helmet. When you merge Rare, you will forge an Epic-Legendary Helmet.
Simply select the Mining Helmet you want to merge by tapping the checkbox on the top left corner and once you have 3 selected, you’ll see a merge button to complete the operation. Once this action is done, you will no longer have access to the Mining Helmets in app nor will you be able to equip them. You’ll forge an Uncommon+ Mining Helmet and have the opportunity to mint that so you can equip it and get its benefits.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Mining Helmets can only be merged once, so if you are buying them from another owner, make sure to check their link, provided in the description on OpenSea, to see if they’ve already been merged before you purchase them.
Note: It is possible to merge Epic Items, but since there are so few Legendary Items, the requirements are more stringent. To merge 3 Epic Items into a Legendary Item has the following requirements:
1) You must have a Legendary Profile minted,
2) You must have 3 Minted Epics or 1 Minted Legendary for each Item type. (3 Epic Pickaxes, 3 Epic Boots, and 3 Epic Helmets, or 1 Legendary of each)
3) You must reach out to support to get this reviewed and approved.
