Similar to Geocaching, Geomining is the act of locating and discovering valuable digital items or assets from a real, physical space. COIN allows you to travel to new tiles, Geomine, and uncover hidden rewards in the ground beneath your feet! With those digital rewards, you can compete and interact with other users, or even transform them into real-world items!
To Geomine, tap the pickaxe button at the bottom of the COIN app. You can also tap "Auto Explore" to Geomine automatically!
Geomining Daily Prize
Every day, COIN randomly selects a user that has Geomined at least once that day. The more times you Geomine (up to 150/day), the higher the likelihood you will win the 2500 COIN prize. Having minted Geominer badges multiplies those entries. If you had one minted Geominer badge; your 150 Geomines would be 300 entries. For each Geominer badge you have minted, you get 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x entries (there are 4 Geominer badges).
