How can I mint my badges?
Ensure you are on the latest version of the app by checking the Apple App Store or Google Play store. Once you have updated to the latest version, tap your account icon on the top left and select the badge you would like to mint. You should see a Mint as NFT button there. Tap that and complete the purchase to get it minted.
Can I use an ERC-20 (Ethereum) Wallet to store my NFT?
The badge NFTs are minted on the Polygon Network rather than the Ethereum Network, so you will need to change which network you are pointing to with your Wallet to see it. You can easily see your minted NFTs by going to the account screen in COIN and tapping See All in the badges section, then tapping the View All Minted NFTs button.
For Metamask wallets, there is a drop-down on the top left of the meta mask browser extension window. Select Polygon from that and then go to the NFTs tab and Import the NFT with this contract address: 0x4670185b40096bf6F327B0461119863b7F38BCf2 and your Pickaxe ID which can be found on my.coinapp.co/pickaxes
Importing NFT items
If you purchased an NFT from Opensea and would like to import it to the COIN app, here is our guide!
1. Open Metamask
2. Select the address that owns the NFT
(Here we have selected Account 12)
3. Select the network Polygon Mainntet
If Polygon Mainnet is not listed follow the steps listed here: https://docs.polygon.technology/tools/wallets/metamask/add-polygon-network/#mainnet
4. Select the NFTs Tab and then scroll down to select Import NFT
5. For the address field use the following values for each collection
Achievements (badges): 0x32a9c6a84e5eefedd95feea6873440eaa86d5d45
Helmets: 0x86b5b5b742528ba16e3fedf419774b13f95557f3
Pickaxes: 0x4670185b40096bf6f327b0461119863b7f38bcf2
Enter the tokenId of your individual pickaxe, helmet, or badge achievement.
6. After a successful import you will see the NFT listed in your wallet
Currently, badges minted as NFTs are simple collectibles that you can store in your crypto wallet, but we may introduce functionality for some or all of them in the future. Once a mintable item expires, there is a chance to pay for the mint with your COIN balance.
Note: If you don't have an NFT wallet address set, no problem, you can use our shared COIN one to mint the item and whenever you are ready we can transfer that over to your personal NFT wallet address. Contact our support team if you would like help with redirecting your NFT to a personal wallet.
Note: The Mining Boots minting benefit does not apply to items minted with COIN rather than in-app purchases.
